He's so tall that the receptionist at the lab asked him for his photo ID the other day. I had noticed that recently people were ignoring me and speaking directly to him (medical professionals who would normal defer to the parent), and then when that happened I realized that whoa, people think he's an adult! He just made 14.

Wow! I have a feeling my son is going to get that too. I'm only five feet tall and he's 4 feet. And he's only 6!
