National EB awareness week

Tomorrow is the start of national EB awareness week. To highlight what a painful and sometimes debilitating disorder EB is, I will be posting a picture each day that emphasizes the difficulty of life with EB. If you feel that viewing such pictures will be to upsetting or painful, you might want to hide me from your friends list for the next week. I won't take it personally.

"Awareness Week" is to help those of us who are not personally touched by EB to learn and understand what the difficulties are, right? The higher the awareness the better the chance (I hope!) at more funding which someday WILL lead to a cure, a treatment that works better than what you have now?
