Dec. 17th, 2017 01:41 amI am so close to the end of this semester that I can almost taste it. It tastes like coffee and exhaustion. I have to turn in my writing portfolio Monday, then have an algebra final on Wednesday, and sometime before 7pm on Thursday I have to complete and drive to Lincoln to turn in a hundred-question multiple choice take-home test for social psychology. And then I am finally done, for a few weeks. I just want to lay around and read things that I actually chose for myself.
At least this weekend has been nice, if frantic. Friday we saw the new Star Wars, which I really loved. Yes, it has some problems, but overall it made me happy. Then Saturday was Ariana's 10th birthday party, so there was lots of last minute cleaning this morning, then a gaggle of little girls eating and playing and painting ornaments. Tomorrow I have work, and then we head straight to Boston for the Yule Ball at the Middle East.
